I'm an AI engineer and consultant, and the founder of Wise Connex, an AI-first consultancy. We help organizations turn the potential of AI into systems, decisions, and operating models that create measurable business value — from strategic direction through production implementation.
My work centers on two things: orchestrating frontier models for production systems, and deploying open-source models for private, on-premise projects — training, fine-tuning, and inference on local-first, hybrid-cloud infrastructure. I work across Python, TypeScript, and Rust.
As a consultant, I help teams cut through the hype: where AI actually moves the needle, what to build versus buy, and how to ship systems that are reliable, private, and cost-aware. I've also spent years on the business side — across B2B and B2C, in both high-growth and turnaround situations — which shapes how I work: AI is only worth building when it earns its keep. The goal is always the same — practical systems that hold up in production and pay for themselves.
Outside of engineering, I work professionally as a filmmaker, photographer, and music composer. These aren't hobbies set aside from the work — they sharpen the same instincts for craft, composition, and attention to detail that show up in the systems I build.
My way of working took shape across many places — I've lived in Venezuela, Argentina, and Spain, and across the U.S. in South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and Utah, with plenty of the world in between. But nothing left a deeper mark than New York. The city stayed with me: its pace, its standards, its collision of cultures and disciplines. I learned to move between worlds the same way — comfortable crossing between engineering and art, business and craft.
I care as much about why something gets built as how. The problems worth my time tend to sit where technical depth meets real human stakes — which is also why part of my time goes to causes beyond the day-to-day: disaster relief and raising awareness around living organ donation. Good work and doing good aren't separate tracks for me.
